Mountain bike seat clamp

Fixing the appropriate mountain bike seat clamp for your bike is essential for a superior biking experience. If you want to have a good mountain biking experience; make sure that you have comfortable and strong seat clamps; otherwise you will have a hard time enjoying your ride. Installing a mountain bike seat clamp is relatively easy; all you need to follow are some simple steps. First, decide on the type of seat post that you want a single bolt seat-post or a double-bolt seat post. If you want to install your seat on a single-bolt seat clamp; then you will need to loosen it to a great degree.

The double-bolt seat clamps are installed in a similar manner; but they require at least one of the clamps to be loosened completely. This allows for a better grip of the seat and a better riding experience for the biker. Later on, tilt the saddle a bit and then adjust the seat at a reliable level. Later on, adjust the fore and aft position. As a general rule; when the pedal is at 3 o’clock position then the knee must be aligned just above the centre of the pedal.
