The Jetstream is constructed around a high tensile steel frame and has a relaxed road race geometry with sloping top tube. Shimano handlebar indexed shifters are fitted for effortless gear changing. Highlights include 36 hole Viking deep section alloy rims with quick release front hub and Shimano derailleurs. The larger 700C wheels with narrow 23C tyres and higher gearing make it easier to achieve and maintain higher speeds than a mountain bike or hybrid. The Jetstream comes equipped with a 14 speed transmission using-a 14-28 Shimano freewheel on the rear and a 42-52 double chainset.
